Looking for a Guardian Family for Our Recent Litter

We’re looking for a loving Guardian Family for one of the female puppies in our most litter — born on July 22, 2026. She’s only a few weeks old and ready to join the right home as a cherished family pet while also participating in our responsible breeding program.

Quick Summary

  • Pet first, program second: The puppy lives full‑time with you as your family dog. Day‑to‑day, she’s your pet.
  • We retain breeding rights: We remain the dog’s legal owners during her breeding career (until she's about 6 years old). Ownership transfers to you once she retires.
  • Time at our home: When she is in heat and for approximately 1.5 months around whelping, she stays with us. Over her career, this occurs about 4–6 times in total.
  • Minimal cost: There’s no purchase cost. A $3,000 refundable deposit is required and returned to you over 6 years in $500 increments.
  • Goal: She gets a stable, loving home; you get an incredible family dog; we keep the breeding rights.

  • Temperament: Affectionate, people‑oriented, eager to please (typical of our Golden Retrievers).
  • Training: She's a puppy, so she'll require potty training, socializing and leash training.
  • CKC Registered: Our dam is registered with Canadian Kennel Club (CKC).

How Our Guardian Home Program Works

  • 1. The puppy joins your home: As the guardian home, you will welcome her into your family, providing her with all the love, care, and attention she deserves. This includes feeding, grooming, regular exercise, and routine veterinary care. She will live with you permanently as your pet.
  • 2. Breeding rights: Cream Goldens will retain breeding rights for the female dog. When she is in heat or approaching her due date, you'll bring her to our home for insemination. We will coordinate the timing and logistics with you, ensuring minimal disruption to your family life. 
  • 3. Whelping with us: She stays with us for ~1.5 months around delivery so we can provide 24/7 care for her and her puppies.
  • 4. Repeat responsibly: This cycle typically happens 4–6 times, depending on the dog’s health and well‑being.
  • 5. Health and safety: We are committed to the dog's health and well-being. Cream Goldens will cover all costs related to breeding, including necessary health tests. We will provide you with detailed care instructions to ensure she remains in top condition.
  • 6. Retirement & transfer: When the dog retires (around age 6), we arrange her spay (if not already completed) and transfer full ownership to you.
